Apollo at the Russian Embassy

Suzanne Farrell and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet were invited to the Russian Embassy to help celebrate 100 years of the Ballets Russes hosted by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation and the International Firebird Arts Foundation.

Ms. Farrell gave introductory remarks about George Balanchine's connection to the Ballets Russes, which was followed by an excerpt from Balanchine's Apollo, originally created for the Ballet Russes in 1928.
